Derrick’s career began with turning around underperforming businesses, a skill he later applied to managing capital for real estate investors. Over the years, he has advised on more than $1 billion in real estate transactions, developing strategies to drive value across various business sectors. At Vie Management, Derrick leverages this expertise to shape the Firm’s strategy, oversee daily operations, and optimize the performance of Vie’s portfolio of assets and businesses, all while championing the implementation of the Vie-branded approach to value creation.

Before joining Vie Management, Derrick co-founded and served as Principal of Inveniam, LLC, a multifamily private equity fund. Prior to Inveniam, he worked with McKinsey & Company, focusing on growth, asset management, and acquisition strategies for a diverse client base.

Derrick earned an A.B. in Public Policy from Princeton University, a J.D./M.B.A. from Columbia University, and studied at the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration at Tel Aviv University.
